ALL THE EVENTS ON DAY 2

Day 2 of the Australian Poker Tour continues on Saturday 23rd of February with 6 events. These events include The LCAPoker teams event, the Pokershop $7,500 guarantee, the $2,000 Ladies event, the Terminator also your last chance to play in the $85,000 Main Event and the last chance at late registration before Day 2 officially commences in the $75,000 Super High Roller.

The first event of the day is the one of the most popular events on the schedule, the LCA Poker Teams Championship. For the first time ever in the World, our National Teams Competition will feature TeamPoker NON-CONTACT PROTOCOL. Teams are ensured that no player from more than one team will sit at a table together eliminating collusive play. We will also have live ranking of teams and players, ensuring that the result is known straight away. A great way to build a final table rail and cheer on your team to victory!!It’s going to be HUGE!!! Get your team together now, ie poker buddies, work mates, family, friends, sports team mates… better still ask your boss if they want to help sponsor your team. Wear t-shirts, caps etc with your work logo on them. If you want to play and don’t have a team turn up early and create one on the day. The friendly staff on the registration desk and our affiliate managers are more than willing to help you get in to a team. There is nothing better than taking home the trophy for this event as bragging rights are priceless!! Its going to be HUGE!!!! This event consists of teams of 5 players with a $350 buy-in ($300+$50 per team), $7,500 guaranteed! Registration opens at 10am and the event starts at 11am. Late registration is open until 1:15pm, the blind levels increase every 20 minutes and the tournament has a Big Blind Ante starting in level 4. The second day of Event 3 the Super High Roller, $75,000 guarantee, continues  on day 2. Players have their last chance to register for this event. Play resumes at 12pm. This means players have limited time to ensure they register or Re-Enter this event before commencement of play. The blind levels are 40 minutes each with a Big Blind Ante starting at level 2. For this event dealers will be supplied. Entry to this event is $1,150 ($1,025+$125) and players start with 75,000 in tournament chips, this event also has unlimited Re-Entries available.

Event 6 is the third event for the day – The POKERSHOP 7500. This tournament has a $7,500 guarantee with a $70 ($60+$10) Buy-in. Last time at Southport this event had a total prize pool of $8,895 ($5,000 guarantee) expectations for this event wouldn’t surprise if it was over $10,000. Registration opens at 1pm, tournament starts at 2pm with registration open until 4:15pm. Re-Entry is available for this event, there will be a Big Blind Ante starting in level 4, blind levels are 20 minutes long and players will start with 25,000 in tournament chips.

Event 7 and fourth event for the day is the Ladies Event, sponsored by King Playing Cards – $2,000 guarantee. In our October series, this event had 69 entries and 14 re-entries for a total prize pool of $3,735. Registration opens for this event at 3pm, tournament starts at 4pm. Buy-in is $50 ($40+$10) late registration is open until 5:45pm and there are Re-Entries available for this event. Blinds are 15 minutes each and players will start with a 20,000 tournament chip stack.

The final flight for Event 1, the Ladbrokes Main Event  is the fifth event available to play for the day. This is also your last chance to have a crack at your share of $85,000 opens for registration at 6pm, the game starts at 7pm with late registration open until 9:35pm. This flight has 1 Re-Entry available for players. Entry to this event is $175 ($150+$25) blind levels are 20 minutes each until day 2 where they will increase to 30 minutes. This event has a Big Blind Ante starting at level 5. Players also start this event with 30,000 in tournament chips.

The final event for the day is the Upswing Poker-Terminator. The Buy-in for this tournament is $50 ($20+$20+10) from the buy-in $20 goes in to the prize pool and $20 is the termination prize players win for every player they eliminate from the tournament. The winner of the tournament also receives their own $20 termination prize. Registration opens at 8pm, tournament starts at 9pm and late registration closes at 10:45pm. No Re-entries or Add-ons are available for this event. Once you are terminated, You won’t be back, however you  can return to play events on day 3. There is a Big Blind Ante starting in level 4, blind levels are 15 minutes long and players will start with a 20,000 tournament chip stack. The winner of this tournament will also earn themselves an Upswing Poker No-Limit Holdem Poker Training course for 6 months, valued at $299, which is added on top of the prize pool.

On top of these events there will be Sit and Go Satellites available to the Main Event and the High Roller running throughout the day.
