We are thrilled to inform you that as of August 8th, the Hachem Management Group has become the major shareholder of the APT.
The transition of ownership was seamless and met with enthusiasm from the previous shareholders, who were delighted to know that their shares were acquired by a highly respected organization in the poker industry. This significant development means that the Hachem Management Group will now take charge of all future APT events and initiatives, and combined with their expertise, the focus will be on improving tournament formats for the benefit of all poker players.
Led by Tony Hachem, former Australian Team PokerStars Pro, and his experienced team, the APT is embarking on an exciting new direction. Tony brings with him two decades of industry experience and engagement, along with his amazing network, which perfectly complements the current APT framework. With notable accomplishments as a tour Pro, back-to-back ANZPT player of the year awards, and over $1,000,000 USD in tournament poker earnings, Tony’s poker background is extensive.
Tony is also the founder of successful poker charity fundraiser events, such as “Poker with the Stars” and “All in for Charity” Gala events. Through these initiatives, Tony has showcased his passion and proficiency in organising tournaments, having raised up to a million dollars to various charities.
With the addition of the Hachem Management Group, the APT schedule will now feature additional exciting events that complement the existing lineup.
Our aim is to provide players with tournaments they will truly enjoy, from player-dealt events to high-stakes competitions. Expect Celebrity Bounty games, Deepstack tournaments, Mixed games tournaments and an exhilarating new tournament series accompanying every APT Season 7 series.
